Delivering exceptional outcomes and creating impact by driving positive and enduring change

Social Sector
The public sector shapes the framework within which global and local markets operate; the social sector steps in where governments and markets may fall short in supporting underserved communities. Increasingly, actors in these sectors are adopting innovative change models and leveraging learnings, models and partners from the private sector to achieve their goals. Culture Shock’s work across the private, public and social sectors enables us to help clients transform communities around the country.
Primary Education
Culture Shock works with innovative education non-profits and school systems to create better opportunities for underserved students to lead choice-filled lives. We are committed to supporting high-impact organisations in Papua New Guinea looking to transform education throughout the nation and drive lasting, systemic change.
WHAT WE DO
Our education work is focused on five subsectors:
-
Human capital

Reform-minded school systems
Government-run school systems that are proactively implementing student-centric reforms.
-
Alternative school models
High-quality alternative school networks that support traditionally underserved populations and focus on improving student outcomes.
-

Economic Development
Culture Shock’s economic development work leverages the power of markets and business enterprise models to create jobs, fuel income growth and improve the quality of life for those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds in PNG. Culture Shock supports nonprofits and entrepreneurs who seek to bring growth to the communities they serve in effective and sustainable ways. Our rigorous analysis and broad experience help our clients focus their strategies, and grow their donor bases and drive system-level change.
